Condition:

Woodcut, 1916, signed in pencil, the only known impression of Gercken's state I of II, with the Unverkäuflich E L Kirchner stamp and the artist's estate stamp (Lugt 1570b) on the verso and inscribed in ink 'H 241 I', on wove paper, framed With wide margins, the print is in good condition apart from some inconspicuous creasing at the sheet edges and some spots of skinning and old adhesive-stain on the verso. (The sheet edges slightly uneven and occasional pale fox marks visible upon close inspection.) The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale.
